Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Try tossing with toasted and crushed pecans, bacon bits and some fresh butter.

Serves 4-6

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs. Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise

2 shallots, peeled and sliced thin

1/4 cup olive oil

1 Tbsp. honey

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Toss the Brussels sprouts, shallots, olive oil, honey, salt and pepper in a bowl and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Place in oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are soft and the outside leaves are crispy.

Place in serving bowl.
