I'm thinking it sounds like it would be better at room temp before garnishing. If it ever cools off here I'll turn the oven on.

Salad in a Pie

Prebaked tart shell

½ lb. Bacon, chopped

1 med. onion, chopped

3 firm ripe tomatoes, chopped

1/ 7oz. Can diced green chiles

½ tsp. cumin

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar

1 medium sized ripe avocado

1/3 cup sour cream

Fresh cilantro

In a frying pan, cook bacon over medium heat, stirring until crisp. Lift out, drain and set aside, reserving 1 Tbsp. drippings in pan. Add onion and cook, stirring until soft. Add tomatoes, green chiles, and cumin and cook, stirring until thick (about 15 min.) Add bacon. Spoon into tart shell; sprinkle with cheese.

Bake in a 400° oven until cheese is melted (about 8 min.) Pit, peel and slice avocado. Arrange over tart; garnish with sour cream and cilantro.

Makes 6-8 servings

You know, I think these ingredients would be fun in a wrap, how about

sprinkling cheese on wrap and melting in microwave (or not, could just mix in), maybe add a tad of shreded romaine?
I've been on a wrap bender.
Was cooking at my Moose Lodge last week--took my favorite "Gobbler" that's turkey, cream cheese, cranberry sauce, alfafa sprouts, cukes, on multigrain.
I did a wrap with the multigrain wraps, damn it was good! Sold out, this is a burger and Fish and Chips bunch, didn't sell one burger that day!
thanks Cyn, looks really good in the shell too. Hey, how about on a pizza shell?
Nan
