Wish I'd had a SB party to take/try this out on this year.
Sweet Onion Dip - aka "Crack Dip"
Yield: Serves 4-6
Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
1 (8-ounce / 225-g) package cream cheese (at room temperature)
1 cup (240ml) mayonnaise
1 cup (100g) fresh grated Parmesean
1 cup (160g) diced sweet onion
1 tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix the cream cheese, mayo, Parmesan, onion, and pepper until thoroughly combined.
Pour the mixture into a 6-inch (15-cm) baking dish or oven-safe dish. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, so ingredients meld together. When the top is brown and almost burnt-looking, it's ready. The darker brown the crust gets, the better the flavors.
Serve with crusty bread, crackers, or veggies.
