Rec. Sweet & Sour Green Beans

4 slices bacon

1 c finely diced onion

2 15-1/2oz cans cut green beans, undrained

2 tbsp sugar

dash of pepper

1/4 c vinegar

Cut bacon in 1/2" pieces. Partially cook bacon; add onion, saute until onion is lightly browned.

Drain beans, and add liquid to bacon and onion; cook until liquid is reduced to 1/2 c. Add beans and remaining ingredients. Heat thoroughly. Serves about 6.
