It's from The Southern Living Cookbook. I made something like this years ago, then lost the recipe. We used it on top sirloin chunks for Kabobs. I marinated them for about 8 hours in a plastic zip bag. The kabobs were wonderfully flavored and very tender.
Sweet-&-Sour Marinade
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup (packed) light brown sugar
1/8 tsp garlic powder (I like fresh)
Combine all ingredients and stir well.
Use to marinate beef or pork before cooking; use to baste during cooking.
Yield: 1 cup
