TARTE AU CITRON

from "Classic Home Cooking" by Mary Berry and Marlene Spieler

Have ready:

One 12" pre-baked tart shell or two 9" tart shells

Whisk together:

9 eggs

1-1/4 cups heavy cream

Grated zest and juice of 5 lemons

1-2/3 cups sugar

Pour into shell and bake at 350*F until lightly browned, about 40 minutes.

Sift powdered sugar over tart before serving.
