As if you need another chocolate chip cookie recipe...this recipe produces a thin, crispy cookie with a slightly chewy center. The recipe states to bake for 12 minutes for a golden edge and center. My oven took 15.
2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 c salted butter
¾ c sugar
¾ c brown sugar
1 t water
1 t vanilla
2 eggs
2 c semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add water and vanilla. Mix ingredients until just combined. Add eggs and mix them lightly. Stir in flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Don’t overmix dough. Drop cookies by T. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges and centers are brown
