pies and was definitely the favorite.  It was gone in a flash.  It took me a while to find the morello cherries but there they were at Trader Joes.  And, since fresh cherry season is over I used frozen ones instead.  The filling smelled so good when cooking up because of the cinnamon, nutmeg and anise.
