I would note that if using gemelli or fusilli, you probably want to use 8 oz. of it. The recipe calls for "2 cups hot cooked fusilli or gemelli",
I was in a rush last night and cooked the whole box of gemelli, not realizing that it was 16 oz. and not 8 oz, until it was too late. It was a little drier than I would prefer, but the taste was still great and the family loved it. I think 2 cups cooked (which would be 4 ounces dry) would not be enough for the amount of sauce. They do say to use 8 oz. if using thin spaghetti instead of the gemelli. Let me know if you try it what you think.
