C CathyZ Well-known member Dec 8, 2006 #5 Can I suggest toasting the wild and brown rices in a pan with a little oil first? It will give you a really nutty and more intense flavor. It is a little "trick" I learned years ago and it makes a huge difference in every dish I try it in.
