I received this cookie club recipe and it says convection bake at 350°.

Susan's Super Special Oatmeal Cookies

I experimented a lot before coming up with this recipe. It's the absolute best oatmeal cookie I've ever tasted. I (of course) always add the raisins and pecans! It's a favorite at our place.

1 1/2 cup butter

2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1/2 cup water

2 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cup quick oats

3 cup flour

1 1/4 cup finely crushed graham er crumbs

2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

Golden raisins, optional

Coarsely chopped pecans, optional

Beat butter, sugars, eggs, water and vanilla until creamy. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add raisins and nuts, if desired. Drop onto lightly

greased baking sheets.

Convection bake at 350° for 11 minutes.

I don't think you need to change the termperature, Ann - I'd do it at 350º

General guidelines say to reduce the temp by 25º when using the convection mode, but when I bake cookies, I usually go for the same temp and a shorter time.

If you did the standard conversion, and raised the temp 25º to 375º, it sounds too high for those cookies.

Although I must admit, the water and the graham cracker crumbs are a little unusual - I wonder if these cookies are supposed to be crunchy or chewy?

I'd say do 350º if it's supposed to be chewy, and 375º if it's supposed to be crunchy.

Or, since that's quite a large batch of dough, do one sheet of each, and decide which one you like better!

Do report back if you make them - I'd love to hear how they turn out!
