I've been searching my recent e-mails and cooking websites, but couldn't find this recipe after I bought the ingredients! I ended up making my own version, but wonder if any of you have seen this one??? You shred and squeeze the liquid out of the potatoes, mix in some oil and seasonings, saute leeks and peppers and add to the potatoes. Cook on the stovetop. Thanks for any help!!

That sounds like the recipe right there. Get as much water as you can out of the potatoes. You could

use a nonstick pan, with melted butter. A small amount of dried French thyme would be good, salt and pepper. If you added some 35% cream just to moisten it all, you could saute it all as one piece and let the bottom brown. If necessary, flip it. YOu could also finish it in the oven.

Or just do the same and make patties. Sounds good.

Thanks, Marg.

I think the thyme might have helped plus a little more salt. I was hoping to find the original recipe and see the exact proportions, but I'm sure I can just fiddle with what I have smileys/smile.gif I appreciate your help!
