? regarding fruit sauce. I love it when I go out and get a beautifully plated

dessert with pretty (and tasty) swirls of fruit sauce on the plate. I made the Stratwberry Shortacke recipe that Charlie posted. The Star Anise Sauce that went with it was to die for. Do you think I could replace the strawberries in the sauce recipe with black raspberries? Or, do you have any other sauces that might work? I want to make a black raspberry semifreddo and serve it with a sauce.
