REC: Cake mix chocolate mug cake
I tried the made from scratch one also and it bounced in my sink when I tried to put it down the garbage disposal.
I found this on the net and it is wonderful!
Cake Mix Chocolate Mug Cake
1 box of chocolate cake mix (I used Duncan Hines)
1/3 cup egg white powder
1 Tablespoon oil
3 Tablespoons water
Mix cake mix and egg whites together.
Spray mug with oil spray such as Pam. Mix 1/2 cup of cake mix mixture, oil and water in mug. Place mug in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on HIGH. Take cake out of microwave and sprinkle with mini marshmallow and chocolate chips.

Cake in a Mug
1 18.25 oz. box of cake mix
1 4-serving size pkg. instant pudding
Mix the above together. I like to use butterscotch pudding with spice cake and chocolate pudding with chocolate cake. I haven't tried other flavors.
To make cake:
1/2 cup above mix
1 egg
1 Tbs. veg. oil
1 Tbs. water.
Grease the inside of a soup mug. Combine the cake ingredients and put in mug. Microwave on 50% power for 2 minutes; turn the microwave to high and cook for 1 minute more. Remove and let cool slightly before icing. Once in a while, I use Nutella on the chocolate. I have topped the spice cake with some peanut butter mixed with some powdered sugar. I usually eat my cake without icing.
Note: It is possible to make this baking on high for 2 minutes. It will not be as tender and doing the first half of the cooking at 50% power.
