Remember the strawberry plant? I leave for three weeks, bring it to a neighbor and this happens

She told me she only watered it once and the rest was rain.

It flowered and got berries for her -- in November/December!

What gives? It's done nothing for me for a year! The only thing I can think of is she set it out in a bed of ground cover/flowers and that might've done something.

What the plant is saying is that is did not like its' location and loved the one your neighbor gave

it. Some plants are very social and I think strawberries are one of them. It also liked being in a garden setting.

It must be social - same place as my yard, but with the drought I don't have my beds planted.
