Remember those bacon wrapped sriracha glazed onion rings?

I have been fiddling with the recipe every time I've made them and have what I think is the secret - gochujang and honey instead of sriracha and brown sugar. Much faster to make and much less mess to clean up.

I bought mine from Amazon because the reviews were so good. I am underwhelmed

with it however. If you look up other reviews of different brands, it seems most love the brand they ordered. Edited: to add the link which has some great info.

It seems I have the bottom brand which they both liked, only mine has a yellow lid and while the label has the same wording, it is laid out different. Not sure what that means.

Good info here.

what I have

Haechandle is the English translation of the brand name. The label touts it as medium hot and the number 1 seller in Korea. I can't remember why I chose this particular brand. I tasted it by itself and thought it was pretty hot and somewhat less sweet than sriracha.

Thanks,

I've seen that brand and believe it comes in several heat levels.

Am skeered of trying those onion rings because I *know* they're gonna be good and I'll get addicted, lol.
