Marsha T-bay's coconut chicken tenderloin curry with sweet potatoes: Very tasy and quick to put together. DH really liked the sweet potatoes in it. I thought color contrast is needed, so I added some steamed snow peas.

Moyn's coconut pork curry with green curry paste. This differed from the beef version I had posted before she tweaked it. The pork and green curry worked out very well. I put lots of it in. It mellowed a bit by the next day's leftovers. (Personally, I still like the beef with red curry.)

MarkinHouston posted this recently: Dried apricots and dried prunes over pork chops in the crockpot. Surprisingly tasty. I made a big batch so I could take some to my elderly parents. They thought it wonderful and tender. As a matter of fact, they were so tender that the bones fell off and into the fruit. Next time I'll use boneless pork.

We will definitely fix all three again. Thanks, everyone!

Anna, thanks for the report...I wonder if you think the Mark's pork with the apricots and prunes

would be a good choice for serving to company. Friends of mine went to Israel last year and loved the fruitiness of the entrees. I was thinking of a pork roast with fruit. Comments welcome!

Would you have time to try it for yourself before serving guests?

It's really a very home-y meal, not dressed up. My folks are from Iowa and prefer plain food, without spices. This served the bill

Perhaps someone more knowlegable can speak to the kinds of fruits that are cooked with Israeli entrees. Personally for my taste buds, I'd like something with apples for a company dinner.

Can I ask you where you find so many delicious-sounding recipes? You must have a great stack of cookbooks!

Anyone have an idea how to incorporate fruit into Israeli dishes? Friends of mine visited Israel

last year and loved the fruit incorporated into the entrees. I want to have them for dinner and thought of at least a pork roast with perhaps apricots, prunes. Any other ideas?

I'm happy, Anna, that many of the recipes I've shared sounds good to you too. Yes, I have a few

hundred cookbooks, hundreds more recipes and then daily I have recipes come into my email from groups and all kinds of ezines.

Meryl, both of these sound good and easy too!!! You are always so wonderful to find things so

quickly!!! Thank you very much!!!
