I have a few recipes saved that were previously posted. Looks like you're reposting some of the favorites? Should I post others when I have time? These are the brownies I always make now, and (sadly) just leave out the Grand Marnier if kids are going to be sharing them . . .

Ooh. This is one of those one-pan recipes. And GM is a swell addition. Do you think

that it doesn't disappear into the oven? My mother was so concerned about alcohol in desserts as well, but I think she should have been more concerned about sugar. We all became addicted to that.

Thanks for the recipe. It's on the list for as soon as my hips will allow.

Should I post straight to favorites?

I couldn't tell from casual reading whether I should post in favorites first, or here in the forum first and wait for someone to ask.

The GM is probably fine

but I'm as worried about kids not liking the taste as anything. And in this particular recipe, the alcohol never does get 'baked out.' But I sure love it with the GM in!

I'm not sure either Stacy. I thought they need to be posted here first and then>>>

asked to be posted in favorites.

I think the original idea of the "Favorites" was to re-create the recipe collection from "Gails,"

so if that's what you have, post them in favorites.

New recipes should be tried by a few others before being posted there.

At least, that's how I understand it.

The Favorites are for recipes that have been posted and been tried by several others and praised,

a lot have been brought over from Gail's, and more have been added from this board.

The recommendation by several users of the board, regardless of the source of the recipe, are what it takes to be nominated for the Favorites section.
