I just received a news letter from PIX bakery in Portland, OR. They are showcasing an assortment of buche de noel and this one caught my eye:

Canoli filling, kirsch cherries, chocolate mousse and chocolate cake. $32
Anyone have a recipe for canoli filling? My Jersey-based friend swoons over this filling and to be honest, I don't think I've ever tried it. Would love to give it a whirl for the holidays.
The visuals in the link are awesome. Love the elves and those blown sugar globes on the mailbox. And I really want to attend the eggnog tasting with various alcohols. How cool is that? I love this place! (Thank goodness I live a few hours away...)
