Rich Squash Pie

This is what I have just started making for the holidays. At the Resturant I work at.

Basic pastry dough or store bought

1 C pureed cooked squash ( Hubbard )

1 C Heavy Cream

1 C Sugar

3 Eggs lightly beaten

3 TBSP Brandy

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Nutmeg

1/2 tsp Powdered ginger

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp mace

Oven 425. Combine all ingredients beat until smooth and well blended. Pour into pie crust. Bake 10 mins then reduce heat to 300. bake 45 -60 min until filling is firm. Serve with whip cream
