and the other side that real cold brings. Read that report on ice-laden-breaking-branch accident. Feel so sad for the family. Just hope all the snow does not bring horrid floods in your area.

Joanie - it went up to 45 degrees here this afternoon, and

I thought about putting on the a/c (heheh, only kidding). It does get cold, but it's the gray that bothers me. With the ice dams on the roof, we have a leaky bathroom, that's all. Thanks for your concern.

Thanks for your concern. I didn't hear about the branch accident, but the ice and snow do bring dangers with them... around here it is roofs (why isn't it rooves?!) caving in with the weight of the snow on them. Two horse barns collapsed near here - the first one on Friday and the second one (which housed some of the horses from the first one) yesterday. No one got hurt, not even the horses, but very easily could have.

Floods are a very real possibility now that

we are thawing. And raining. Like Dawn, we hit the upper 40's today, finally breaking our deep freeze. And now the rains are pouring down and the rivers are rising. It's just always something isn't it? : )

Stay warm!
