Richard in Cincy: I found a Lebkuchen-Guwurz spice packet at the German store...

it is Edora brand. The spices listed on the packet are a bit different than the ones you listed in the Gingerbread Layer Cake recipe. Would you suggest that I add a pinch of the left out spices or just use the packet?

Barbara, there will

some differences between brands, but if you see any spice that I listed that isn't in the packet, I would add a pinch of it as you suggested along with the packet. I hope you like it! Lebkuchen spice is one of my all time favorite spice blends.
