A friend went to lunch at Topolobampo today and saw The Man Himself walking around the restaurant. Said they were too shy to accost him.

Years ago I took a cooking class with him, before he was the famous "Rick Bayless"
At that point he was travelling to Mexico to collect recipes for Mexican market food - or street food for a cookbook. He's a very nice person. If she sees him again, she shouldn't hesitate to speak to him.
