I loved that she revealed on camera how we all make mistakes. So true. I point out to the library patrons at my demos that I'm there to help them avoid the mistakes I made. I'm the BAD example in each scenario...so learn from me. Also-- I WASN'T MARTHA and I didn't have 6 assistants in the background secretly providing the picture-perfect version from 4 other attempts.

I'm also sure Martha never took hot liquified sugar, poured it into a flan baking pan and then SWIVELED her hips tipping the pan to completely get the bottom of it coated to show the class how it's done. Because I did. Then I looked up and--slightly shocked--said: "Did I just SWIVEL in front of you!" having regressed to a 6-year old with a new hula hoop.

Ya, we ALL make mistakes.
