salvaging a disaster of a frozen yogurt from the 4th: turned out wayyyy too tart for a vanilla

frozen delight---at least to my taste buds. So, I thought, instead of dumping it out, I will take the leftover berry sauce and stir it into the softened up frozen yogurt and the tartness of the yogurt will go very well with the berries---much better than the plain vanilla. yukyukyuk. I used 4 cups of good Fage Greek yogurt, and I would recommend the recipe with any type of fruit/berry concoction stirred in, but not plain vanilla or chocolate. unless, you like the stark tartness of plain frozen yogurt, which some do like. I'll post the recipe later.

Did the recipe call for Fage? I bet it assumed regular yogurt, which is much sweeter.

it called for over a cup of sugar and some milk added too. turning it into berry yogurt will saveit

I left some Fage's yogurt in the refrigerator at a friend's (more)

she gave her 18 month old a large bowl- he LOVES regular yogurt, but he "painted" his tray and himself with globs of yogurt.
My friend was so apologetic about "wasting" the yogurt while I was laughing about the shock the baby had when tasting Fage.
I drizzle it with honey.

I drizzle it with honey too. Fage is definitely less sweet than standard American yogurt.

I drizzle with honey, mix in a little cottage cheese, add blueberries, raspberries, whatever berries

I have on hand. It's yummy.
