Sauce for chocolate fountain

I am going to haul out, for the first time, my chocolate fountain. It is still unopened in the box. Anyway, does anyone have a recipe for a good, tasty sauce to use? I wanted to have it for our neighborhood NYE party.

Thanks.

Kathleen

Kathleen, to simplify your life, you can just buy the chocolate discs for these fountains.

They are designed to have a higher fluidity than regular chocolate (thinner) so they flow and don't clog up the machine. I would imagine they included some right in the box to get you started.

You can buy more discs at JoAnns or Bed, Bath & Beyond.

See, if I opened the box, I might know that....

....do you have any idea if they taste any good? Do they sell them at Target? There really isn't a bb&b or Jo-Ann's nearby.

Thanks.

Our Target did have some, the fountain was used at a recent neighborhood party.

I am not a sweet eater, but it was well rec'd. They served it with marshmellows, pineapples, strawberries, etc. Two learnings to share:
- Made a mess! (Make sure you have a "throw away" tablecloth or washable plastic cloth) Keep plenty of napkins nearby for the kids

- Careful with the kids....Give them rules of use, especially with the kebabs beforehand...(Their was a sword fight, before we knew it!)

Have fun! It will be nice not to be on the roads for NYE!
