Please tell me why and what are your favorite spices from them so far?

I already found my favorite peppercorn blend for much less expensive than where I have been purchasing them. Very excited about that.

 
I was introduced to them in their first store in Denver and just LOVED it--it smelled

like a spice store and they weighed out all the spices--and their other franchises have followed suit.
I don't really buy many pre=mixed blends so just the regular chile powders, etc.
They do have tomato powder, and their truffle salt is dynamite on popcorn. The freeze dried corn is delicious--always for sampling at their stores.

 
I ordered their four peppercorn blend for my pepper grinder, 2 cups for $ 24.85 .. is much more than

that at Penzeys, net 7.7 oz 2 cup jar $47.39 ! I use it in all my cooking. Love all the colors, especially pretty in salads, and on potatoes, tomatoes, etc. Also, Chicken Salt, I was intrigued by that!

 
Glad to introduce you! They have a store in California somewhere (I know it's a big

state!) but I think it was their first outside Denver.

 
Karen, I need a new pepper grinder. Last one I bought was recommended by CI. Spent $50

on it and then they RECANTED! in a later publication. Said after using it they didn't like the tiny spring at the top that can get loose when you remove wooden lid.

Buggers.

I've been wary of buying one every since, but hate this generic one I've got now.

Are you pleased with yours and would you recommend it?

 
Not Karen, but I love my Magnum pepper grinder.

I've had the big one for more than a decade and it has been fabulous.

No glitches, it just grinds pepper!

 
I have the big black Magnum, as well, have been using it for years, and it just keeps grinding. Als

have a short, black one for bold, black pepper, and a short, white Magnum for white pepper. Love them all. Very easy to fill, keep clean and look great with any casual setting.
