SDR/FRC: Ran an errand and found myself walking past a Penzey's!

I mean I knew there was one in that town, but it's an area I never tend to go and didn't realize it was so close to someplace else.

Sorta overwhelming, and of course I didn't have a list or anything with me. They have all their offerings in glass "smelling" jars. OH MY.

Since I didn't have a list (darn!) just got some basic baking items: Penzy's Cinnamon, Vietnamese Cinnamon, whole nutmegs, their hot chocolate mix, and mulling spices. All in bulk bags except for the mulling spices, which I really bought because I just could not tear myself away from the smelling jar.

I want to try those Snickerdoodle type cookies Pat posted with the Vietnamese Cinnamom - I've never used/tasted that before.

So, of your favorites did I miss?

My favorites from there are: Herbes de Provence, Fines Herbes, Garlic Powder, Toasted Onion Powder,

Smoked Paprika, and Korintje Cinnamon.

Yeah, their smoked paprika is very good, so is the ground chipotle!

Ditto to all above, and add Mural of Flavor, (TDF), Fox Point Seasoning, and Sunny Paris.

Skip Raspberry Enlightenment, it's full of seeds. Also love their minced garlic, never have to deal with a clove again.
