Well, obviously I love copy me that, and unlike paprika it’s free. So you can easily try it out. The free version is quite good, but I felt I should upgrade since I use it daily. So a few years in I did the one time pay upgrade. Plus, you get a few extra features. One thing, and I need to do this, is you can export all your recipes to your computer if you want to. To copy a recipe you are looking at online, you just hit a send button like you’re printing and it’s done. It creates shopping lists, and you can do meal plans. You can email shopping lists and recipes. You can print if you want to. You can search many different ways. You can create your own recipes and/or add your own photos. You can add your own notes. It also has a community feature to see other people’s recipes, share yours, though I don’t do that so can’t speak to it. Also, if I’ve ever had an issue or wanted to give feed back, I get a quick response from the creator, who is a woman. Not sure if she’s the only employee, but she’s been great. Btw, in the paid version if you turn you phone, or in my case iPad horizontally, it will put the recipe side to side so you don’t need to scroll. There is a web version and an iOS and android app available and they all sync between them. I thought it had a cookbook option as well, but don’t see that currently.
I usually plan my meals on my ipad, then use the shopping list I created when I’m in the store on my phone (you can add non recipe items to your list too btw). Or, once I have my list, create my online grocery order using that list.
Try it out and see if you like it.
Oh and to copy a recipe here that’s in a thread, I click print from that post, which gives a single comment/recipe view, and instead of printing, click cmt to save, and then cancel sending it to the printer.
