Shaun in TO: what did you end up serving as nibbles for that french chef?

Julia Child's cold Mushrooms à la Grecque

The mushrooms were easy but a little too lemony for my taste (Joe found the same thing). I'd definitely do them again but cut back on, or even try leaving out, the lemon so the herbs and fennel come through. (The fennel note would have been a nice lead-up to the fennel in the main.)

Agree that there were plenty of super suggestions, and I'll be trying more of them.
