Short review of "My Life in France" by Julia Child with Alex Prud'homme.

The book, a wonderful read, is a love story. It tells the story of Julia's devotion and love for her husband Paul, France, its people and her evolving passion for French cuisine. While reading I could hear Julia recounting her fabulous adventures. Grandnephew Alex did a great job of keeping the story Julia's.

After reading this marvelous book I have a new appreciation for Julia's "Mastering the Art of French Cooking". I dusted it off a shelf and am now perusing it with new interest, noting Julia's attention to the tiniest details.

I would highly recommend "My Life in France". It's a must read for all serious Foodies.

Thanks Sylvia...

the stack of books-to-read is growing so long for Summer, that it helps to have a good review to recommend it, it now has a prominent place on top!
