Hi Meryl. My son brought 2 bags of them home, they're OK. I think when you
eat them out of the bag, the smoked aspect just makes them taste a touch burned. But I've used them on pizza and in sandwiches and they're fine. I like that they aren't in oil.
Yes, but I haven't cooked them into anything except Pizza.
I don't know if they would bring a smoky flavor to a soup or other cooked dish. But, just out of the bag, I prefer the regular kind.
I do like that these are not in oil, and they are soft.
