So bummed! The editor of Saveur is leaving after 16 years with the mag.

Saveur is a nice magazine, but....

.... for some reason I never cook anything from it, and find myself browsing its pages without actually reading it past the first two paragraphs of each article

not sure why, actually. The photos are wonderful, the subjects they cover are appealing, but.... at some level it fails to grab my attention.

I have a subscription, but was thinking about stopping. Now I might just wait for the new editor and see if it goes in a new direction.

That's me, in general. I rarely read the articles in food magazines. I have rarely cooked from it,

but I'm starting to. I have friends who have raved about recipes in the magazine and online. I'm so glad I did. The Korean Chicken Wings I posted a while ago are simply life changing. And there are several recipes in the new Indian issue that I've cooked and many more dogeared.

Tee hee, I read it for the articles....

I've subscribed for years, but it is more about the food culture than the recipes. Maybe use two or three recipes from the magazine.
Reading about Oseland leaving on other sites this' a.m. it seems many did not like him or what he'd into the magazine.
