How the heck can you decide what to eat? I'd have a major problem because just about

everything looks so good!

Have a great time.

Well, there are only a few bites of each per person, so you can get lots of little plates.

Her boyfriend just came into a little money for something and he's treating and the sky's the limit. Plus, we're doing a pretty early lunch so the bar tab won't get very big-we're hitting Central Market when we finish so we have to remain ambulatory.

Here's what we had:

Bread, Tortilla Espanola, Spinach & Cheese Croquettes, Chorizo in Garlic & Wine, Sweetbreads with Lemon & Capers, Warm Piquillo Peppers stuffed with Goat Cheese, Mussels in tomato sauce, Saffron Rice and Sangria. Yum!

What a fun and relatively inexpensive way to try new dishes. I hate it when I spend $$$

on a main entree, and really don't enjoy / appreciate.

What was your favorite? I love Tapas!

Favorites I had never tried before were the croquettes & stuffed piquillos.

I always get the tortilla & chorizo in wine because they are always wonderful. Relatively inexpensive is the operative word, because we spent $76 on lunch for three of us. Here in this part of the country that is pretty expensive for anything that is not a big hunk of red meat.

You dined well Melissa. Thanks for the "feedback." I have to get myself to a tapas bar

one day or try making some myself.

oh my, I'm reading this in the morning, my stomach is growling, I reached for the emergency fig

newton stash. I want tapas.
