...so right now, I'm going through a love/hate turmoil with Shirley Corriher and Curious1...

...with regard to Rooster Crackers.

Made them yesterday and all I can say is: LOVE THEM! (spoken in a high pitched, crazy voice, like Moriarity on the new PBS Masterpiece "Sherlock").

On the other hand, I hate that there are only 8 crackers left. Eight out of...count em...40 crackers! And no, Larry, the horrid man, did not eat half like a good spouse should.

What about those marriage vows, huh, I ask you? What good is "for better or worse, in sickness and in health" if the guy isn't willing to take his share of cholesterol-clogging crunchy, salty cheesey miracles to save me from myself.

{sigh} I think Love won.

Thanks C! I'm pretty sure the drug company that makes my cholesterol medicine will be sending you a Thank You card.

I have been trying so hard to ignore these and you are all torturing me.

Now, I can make something sweet and just eat a little of it, but salty crunchy (and especially cheesy) stuff? I can see me snarfing down a whole pan of these in a sitting. With some beer to help crank the carb load up a little higher.

Will you please write a cookbook, complete with all your observations

and comments. I will be the first one to buy it, just for the Gingerbread house posts alone!
Maybe it could be just a collection of your posts! I'd buy that, too!!

(((Mar))) good to start my day with one of your funnies!!

When do we get another report on the UK food and travel saw one short one...did I miss any others?
Hugs

I don't know about Shirley, but I'm in hiding. smileys/wink.gif I told DH wat you said and he asked why he's not

gotten a batch yet. I must remedy that. If I'm getting the blame, I should at least make them.

And welcome back! I thought of you often. Did you have a wonderful time and did all go well with the project?
