Sort of food related chat...

Finally, the boxes of "our life" have been unpacked! Some of them have been in storage 2 years, others 4 years...

The kitchen boxes - out of 250 boxes, 80 odd are kicthen related boxed :0

How does this happen?! At what point do you say to yourself, "5 spatulas are just not enough, I need more...."

All my catering stuff from London, the work jackets and various knife rolls from various jobs, oy vey...

And then there are the boxes of cookbooks, 15 maybe? 20? I lost count...

As soon as I can find room for all this stuff, we might be able to have room for us and move in!

 
I am excited for you!! A number of years ago, we had our "stuff" in storage for 6 months. I was

so excited to go through my boxes! Silly things would make me smile and bring back fun memories. But, there were things that I would ask myself why did I ever have it the first place!!

I can't imagine having it in storage for 2-4 years!!

Wow! Finally...

When I get to the city next, I'd love to see the long-awaited reno and expansion.

I have accumulated too much stuff over the years and it would be proportionately close to your volume kitchen-wise, but not 80 boxes full!

 
I don't even want to think how many boxes it would require for

my kitchen stuff and cookbooks. I have your spatula problem with bundt/Gugelhupf pans. Do I really need a dozen?

I have 3 floor-to-ceiling--wall-to-wall bookshelves in in my library.

Books are my friends.

 
Um, yeah, but I won't want stuff in return, unless it's square footage, I have no room for it!!

 
Nothing has made me really smile, yet...

There is just so much stuff it's overwhelming, especially the fiddly little stuff that goes in drawers, did I really collect hundreds of twistex ties? they're cute coloured ones, but.... WHY?!?!

Erin is getting a preview this week (maybe I can offload some stuff, shhh!)

 
And wooden spoons.. .how many does one need?

I have a few bundt pans also, it turns out, even some mini ones smileys/irritated.gif
