When I delete them, the post actually stays there, it just says "(deleted)" instead of the subject heading, because to remove it completely would screw up the thread numbers. Or alternately, I can "hide" it so that you can't see anything at all, but then the threads will skip a number. So I'd just prefer to save myself some work (I'm not paid to do this! ;o) ) and live with the double posts, since I can't really fix it very well anyway. Sorry!
I love moderating this forum but I'd go completely nuts if I had to fix every little random glitch. Right now I'm concentrating on getting that archive working!

I certainly don't want to give your any extra work to do I just thought that it was something that sort of was easy to do and that other posters would be annoyed at all the boo-boos and mess I've made of the page.

it happens to everyone. And you're right, it's pretty easy to do, I just don't want to set a precedent and have to start doing it every time. ;o)
I do have a fix, though, for the problem of hitting "enter" and submitting the form when you don't mean to, I just haven't implemented it because it only works in IE and I'm still loooking for one that will appease the Netscape/Firefox users. It's taken me so long to find one though that I might as well fix at least the IE people...
