I took a cardboard egg carton and filled each space with dryer lint and kept it on the counter. Every time I was done with a Scentsy, I poured the wax into one of the egg carton compartments. After they were all full, I cut the carton into 12 parts. They are working great as fire starters. They smell good too.

fire starters for your fire place? Please call your local fire department and have them explain to

you about wax build up in your chimney, and I am not sure about the dryer lint if you use dryer sheets to soften, but please ask about that too.

Back in our family camping days I did something similar and for the fireplace before

we converted to gas logs. Somehow I doubt there could be much buildup from these in a chimney.

I think you're right Karen. I would also worry about burning cardboard considering

it might have things in it you don't want to breathe. Called the local fire dept. and asking them is a good idea.
