Sorta FRC: What has happened to Martha Stewart?

Ok, I was never an over the top fan, but I liked she was around and that I could count on the quality of her products. Plus, like myself, she loves Halloween.

Today I didn't find the expected new Halloween special publication, but a reissue of an old one. No fair! I looked forward to these every year! Also of note, MSLiving was not on the shelf at the grocery store and Martha Stewart for Grandin Road seems to be gone as well.

Then I read she lost her show on the Hallmark channel.

What gives?

MSL stock rose shortly after the partnership w/ J.C. Penney was announced, but

has fallen over the last six to eight months, most likely as a result of the Macy's-J.C. Penney lawsuit (in which Macy's charged that MSL breached its exclusive contract with Macy's when MSL signed a contract w/ J.C. Penney to supply home goods).

I imagine that mess has taken some toll on the company, but I'm not sure in what ways. I don't think the brand has suffered much.

I see her a bit on Channel 4, Today show. I read in the NY Post this weekend that she was "spotted"

riding her bicycle in the Hamptons. Not exactly the update you were searching for from a cooking / rec perspective, but guessing she is in good health.
