Speaking of beans - has anyone tried Rancho Gordo beans?

I buy from them once a year. I have to figure out the best time to buy

and I think it may be right about now (is that right?) because they sell out of the most popular varieties after several months. They still have lots of beans available all year long however. Great product and great service.

Here is an alternative site. This is the website of my very good friend in San Diego.

She is a one-person company and makes all of her own products. Well, she doesn't grow the beans and such, but she packages them all her self. I am due for an order. If you have never tried the French Green Lentils or dried Cannellini Beans, due give them a try. Especially the lentils. They are my favorite. They are very little and hold their shape. They are wonderful to add to soups.
