Speaking of honey, I just opened an organic bottle from the store and it was disgusting

I'd never tasted honey like this before, it didn't even remotely taste like honey to me and as I said it was awful. I mean throw it out awful.

Given I've been stuck in the house I ordered from the local big grocery store awhile back. I got the O organic brand, grade A honey. Thinking if I can't get local, get organic. Fail. Now I see it's listed on the label as a product of Brazil. It's also slightly darker than some of the more common "bear bottle" honey.

My first taste was as a chaser for Apple Cider Vinegar for my stomach, so the bad taste was right up front. Later, I tasted it on it's own (before using it in something) and honestly it tasted nothing like honey. I wonder if I should try to take it back to the store? Anyhoo, be forewarned, stay clear of this stuff.

Take it back to the store!!! Something funky is going on. . . .

with your honey. I have never had "bad" honey, just honey that I did not like the flavor of. Usually honey is blended (if a generic "honey" is being sold) to get an even honey flavor. Maybe you got a straight varietal that isn't too tasty!

I second that!! Take it back...something is horribly wrong. BTW, honey does come

in all shades, some dark, some barely there. But there should never be a doubt about what it is!

Does the label have an 800 number? You may want to call and report it. If you take it to the

store, you may get a refund, but I would imagine the feedback will not get to the manufacturer. Just a thought.

honey can vary widely in taste. our friend brought us some Tupelo honey, and that tastes unique
