Yes, AngAK I totally agree, however, I believe the Country of Origin likes things very sweet. If

and when I get around to trying it I will use much less sugar.

 
Oh, that's more for me! I'll try it with canned---that should be plenty sweet enough, especially

when cooked down.

 
Ang, Another possibility Southern Pineapple Cake Filling... used in coconut cakes would work also.
