Oh, good to know. What kind of cherries did you use?

Did you put the choc chips inside or on top?

I used maraschino cherries and drizzled the chocolate over

I love TJ's dried cherries in brownies, but prefer the maraschino in these.

A dried bing is going to be very different from a wet maraschino, though.

You didn't have any trouble with the extra moisture?

1st time I made them

1/4 to 1/2 fell apart, but still tasted great. 2nd time my cherries were "older" and didn't have as much liquid.............And I did pat them dry that time.

I can attest these are fantastic! I drained the cherries first, and learned the hard way

my drainboard is not level - with some hilarity - I really loved these. They were terrific with chocolate inside AND the chocolate drizzled on top.
