Started this last night and finished this morning. I was concerned because the dough seemed dense

I love brioche in all its forms. Problem for me is that it really must be eaten shortly after baking

I just can't make it around to (all) my friends in such a short space of time. So instead it just goes to my hips.

It really is special. Will try next time with a few raisins.

 
OR if you just can't get it eaten make bread pudding/French toast--can even freeze

it for later use.

 
Beautiful photos and country you live in Marilyn, reminds me of Humboldt Co

where I grew up in No CA near the ocean. They had lots of cattle and dairy ranches. Loved the cows out in the fields.
