Steve2 - you'll be glad to know my TJ is carrying Plugra butter now - WOW!!! Fabulous taste!

Oh YEAH! Heavenly on popcorn... who knew butter could taste so different?

and just what is it that makes it so different? Ingredients look the same.

 
Also lovely if you see it-Parmesano Reggiano butter. My Italian market carries

it. It does not taste like cheese, but is made in that area from the superb milk used to make cheese in the region. It was about $4 for 8 oz here in Dallas, but really yummy.

 
Wow - I'm about to buy 10 lbs today at $1.88 and I thought that

was great. And it certainly isn't Plugra/Kellers. Fortunately - at least once a month butter goes on sale for under $2 a lb. around here and I usually by 10 bls at a time.

Oh brother! I'm thrilled when plain old Tillamook butter is 2.50/lb. 2.98 at Walmart.

that's the best price we get up here for regular butter.
