Stewed corn--as we call it

Our supermarket had corn 4/$1 this week and as I have often said, when it is that cheap it is GOOD because the crop is fresh and supermarkets refrigerate it. I was not disappointed--it may be the best I have had in years. So am freezing for our holiday dinners.

The kernels were firm and full of "cream" when I scraped the cobs after cutting off the kernels.
 
It was Harris Teeter this week. Still on. I am sure this is Florida corn but it was SO good and SO fresh. Silk was still wet and white.
