I really like these and they are just apples, sugar, margarine, soy lecithin, salt, flour, cornstarch and spice. What would be the best way to do this? Toss the apples with cornstarch & flour and spice, saute in a little butter, then add a little water & cook covered a few minutes until tender? How much flour/cornstarch should I use? They also don't taste very buttery or spicy so I'm guessing a minimal amount of those? I have lots of apples. They were on sale for 69 cents a pound so I got three each of gala, rome, jonathan, golden delicious, (can't remember the fifth) plus a three pound bag of granny smiths.
