Substitute for Oatmeal?

I would love to make the Crack Pie for my get together with family. However, both my husband and his brother are VERY allergic to oatmeal.

Any good substitutes?

Also, does anyone know if you can simply substitute white chocolate for dark chocolate in baking recipes?

Thank you!

Don't know about the oatmeal, but you cannot substitute white chocolate for dark without adjusting

other ingredients.

It's basically just a cookie crust... I would think you could substitute any crumbled cookie

Other crust ideas..... REC: Coconut Tart Shell

(from Traca) -
Coconut Tart Shell

1-1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large egg whites

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Combine coconut, sugar and egg whites in large bowl; mix
well.

2. Spray sixteen mini muffin pan cups with no stick cooking spray. Press 1
tablespoonful coconut mixture on bottom and up sides of each cup. Place muffin pans on baking sheet.

3. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes or until tarts begin to brown. Cool slightly (5
minutes). Remove from pans. Cool completely.

my favorite REC: Nut Crust

This is the crust I use for my cheesecakes - really wonderful and easy. It goes into a springform pan (of course, because it's for a cheesecake), but you could just as easily press it into a pie pan -

Nut Crust:
Bake 1 cup unblanched nuts for 10-15 minutes at 400 deg., shaking pan several times. They should be lightly toasted. Cool about 10 minutes then coarsely grind or chop nuts. Melt 2 tbl. butter or margarine in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in ground nuts and 2 tbl. granulated sugar. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of an oiled, 9” springform pan and place in freezer until ready to use.
