I misspelled "wildly" as "wilding" and the Amish concept for "wilding" is their
Rumspringa, a time period where young Amish men and women are not restricted by typical Amish tenets. They can "go wild" if they want to without recrimination before making a firm decision whether or not to follow the restrictive rules of being Amish for the rest of their lives.
Something like: get it out of their system and make an informed decision on whether or not to accept the Amish lifestyle forever. That way, they don't have to look back and regret: "well, I never got to...(fill in the blank)"
