Suggestions Please....I have some wonderful Peri Peri oil that I started preparing .....

Rock Cornish Games hens with yesterday...we did not get to roast them last night but will do it tonight.

I also spread garlic over them.

I am going to roast them tonight.

NOW I am a bit worried that with all this marinating they maybe too spicy for some. So this a.m. I wiped off as much of the oil as I could and now have them in paper towel.

Anything else I should do ????

Does anyone think they will be too spicy?

I thought I'd just rub garlic, ginger oil over them to roast (1/2 hen per person) The ginger/garlic oil may detract from the Portugese theme I was going for but then I have some premade.

 
Just in case they are too hot, you could provide some cooler to accompany...a yogurt side dish??

 
The paper towel took alot of the heat away. I sprinkled some smoked paprika over the hens....

It turned out a very scrummy meal with just the right amount of hest for some (2 of us added more heat as always though)
